Mama's Family Intros.

Mama’s Family as an American television series was broadcast on NBC and got premiered during the 80’s. This TV series was another spin-off of comedy sketches called, The Family which appeared on The Carol Burnett Show in the 1970’s. It has an opening theme song called, “Bless My happy Home” with the theme of Peter Matz.

The premise of the series had set in Raytown which located in a small town in the South. The story has centered in a typical squabbling family that headed by one of the main character, Thelma Harper whose loudmouthed and outspoken 65 years old widow with a blue haired. On the first season, Vinton forged a relationship with the Harper’s flirtations next-door neighbor, Naomi Oates, and soon had married to him. The show had canceled by NBC in 1984 but the CBS television network continued the show in year of 1986.

I'd like to see this interesting comedy show.. looks like it was fun watching it^_^

I wish someone would put Mama's Family back on tv because I love the show.

It is really hard to understand why they won't release the entire show on dvd even if it is the sydicated version. Joe Hamilton, JR and Warner Bros need to quit bickering and figure it out! There have been lesser shows relaesed, so why not this one? How about frining it back to TV Land?
